Hudson Sheet Metal is an industrial and commercial sheet metal and mechanical contractor. Over fifty years ago and in a building that was formerly a gas station on US Route 1, C.W.”Wally” Hudson, Jr. started this business. It is currently located in the Hanover Industrial Air Park, in Ashland, Virginia, convenient to both I-95 and I-295. Our projects have ranged in size from $75 to over $35,000,000.

Our business is mechanical construction. This includes but is not limited to HVAC systems and custom metal fabrication. We manufacture and install high and low pressure sheet metal ducts, material handling chutes, equipment guards, hoods, dust collection and vacuum systems, custom platforms, ladders, wainscoting, structures and supports, metal stacks, cabinets, tanks, containers, miscellaneous flashings and other custom products. Our administrative and fabrication buildings occupy 30,000 square feet on a 6 acre parcel. In addition to utilizing computerized drafting, welding and plasma cutting equipment, we maintain a large inventory of galvanized steel, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, copper and brass materials.
